Bright Fact Lane is an independent explainer site for curious people. We take the questions that pop into your head at odd moments, like why the sky turns orange at sunset, how a microwave actually heats food, or why the Romans built roads that still exist, and answer them clearly, with sources you can check.
What we publish
We cover four areas:
- Science: the physics, chemistry and biology behind everyday things.
- History: the stories and evidence behind events, objects and ideas.
- Technology: how the devices and systems you use every day work.
- Nature: animals, plants, weather and the planet.
Our articles are evergreen. We don’t chase breaking news. We write pieces meant to still be useful years from now, and we update them when the evidence changes.
How we work
Every article starts with a real question and ends with an answer you can verify. We rely on primary sources wherever possible: peer-reviewed research, government and university publications, museum collections and original documents. Claims are linked to where they came from. You can read the full process in our Editorial Policy.
Who’s behind Bright Fact Lane
Bright Fact Lane was founded by Roniel Prado, who edits every article on the site. The idea is simple: when you search a “why” or “how” question, you should get a clear, accurate answer and be able to see exactly where it came from.
We are not a news organization and we don’t give medical, legal or financial advice. If we get something wrong, we want to know. Corrections are made openly and noted on the article.
